Hey Josh,

Thanks for the tip of the hat. This year’s report will be more comprehensive. We’ve also gone the extra step to point out (A) the strengths of our research but (B) more importantly, the weaknesses of our research. Yes, the report actually states “here are the places where you should take issue with this report.”

A prime example: We celebrate MSP growth rates but we don’t measure profitability. So, what if an MSP is growing at the expense of profits??? That’s certainly a potential red flag. Another area of weakness: Some publicly held companies can’t participate in the MSPmentor 100 because they can’t break out the MSP division revenues.

I’ve always been a stats buff. But I look at many research reports with a skeptical eye because most of them don’t point out their own weaknesses. We’ll always try to do so. And we welcome constructive criticism. Lots of it.

Best wishes for a successful Q1, and thanks for reading MSPmentor.
